About OpenCloneKit
OpenCloneKit was created for home growers who are tired of flimsy, proprietary aeroponic systems that crack, leak, and force you to buy an entirely new setup when one part fails. Most cloners rely on thin plastic housings and cheap manifolds that simply don’t hold up — and most DIY lids let the foam collars fall straight through.
We built something different.
OpenCloneKit focuses on the only parts that truly matter: a heavy‑duty manifold and precision retention rings that lock your collars securely above the bucket. No special container required. No custom tub to buy. No overpriced replacement parts. Just grab a standard 5‑gallon bucket — even one sitting in your backyard — add a pump with a 1/2" hose adapter, and you’re cloning.
Everything else is off‑the‑shelf and easily replaceable. Not only does this save in shipment, but If anything ever cracks or wears out, you don’t need a whole new kit. You just swap the common parts and keep growing. The manifold and rings are built strong enough to last, and future versions will expand to larger containers and new configurations.
